History
Studio 59 was established in 1985 by John and Joyce Musco. Originally, John had a studio in downtown Troy, NY from 1975 to 1984. During that period Joyce was developing a successful wedding video business, and in 1985 they joined forces and created Studio 59 photography and video and the business became an instant success.
As a husband and wife team they are involved in all aspects of photography and video for all occasions. On October 3, 2002 Studio 59 was honored by the Troy City Council for having a successful business in Troy for 20 years. Many photographs produced by Studio 59 have won awards on local, state, and national levels. John and Joyce treat every client with the same enthusiasm and good service as they did in 1985.
John and Joyce are currently members of the Rotary Club of Lansingburgh and also a member of the Capital District Wedding Association, the Uncle Sam Memorial Foundation, Lansingburgh Boys & Girls Club, Tri-State Emergency Team and the Italian Community Center in Troy. Joyce is a member of the Mayflower Society and Daughters of the American Revolution, and is currently secretary of the Grant Cottage Board of Directors.
